are you saying you tried changing the icons on your dock with CandyXP? As in you dragged your icons off the dock and tried to replace them that way?

nar there was a bug in a previous version of candyxp that caused yzdock to crash after you had set your folders to a different icon. It's actually a bug in yzdock.. it's very picky about how you set the icon paths in the registry. But it was easy enough to fix

Ummmmmmmmm okay??? Maybe some of us need to relax a little bit b/c I have never used AOL in my life............THANK YOU! I have tried copying and pasting it into I.E., Nutscrape, & Mozilla to no avail. And there have not been five different times where someone has offered to help so just b/c I'm the only one with the problem doesn't mean people should get so bent out of shape. I see many many posts on in this forum where one person is having a problem with something and nobody else is sharing the same issue. Luckily Babypapichulo was kind enough to take a whole five seconds out of his time and email me the .exe of the newest version of this program............and I also made a new friend in Babypapichulo!!!

I just updated to SP2 on XPpro. Some of my icons changed back to the awfull defaults and now CandyXP doesn't work... When I drag an icon into CandyXP, nothing happens...

Did I hear something about SP2 and .Net framework?

Tried updating .net to SP2 and CandyXP to the latest 1.6. I'm getting this error...

C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Fireworks MX\Fireworks.exe,1

Having a similar problem here. All of my icons were able to be changed except the CD-Rom. I've tried rebuilding the icon cache several times, along with trying to apply a different icon. Nothing seems to work. I'm assuming that SP2 has changed some things and CandyXP needs to be updated.

I realized after I wrote my last post, that I was trying to drag .png's into Candybar and not .ico's. Opps!
