open up the .jar file and look for the bookmark image (i think it's a png file). just replace it with an image of your choice.
nope, not at all. with firefox themes, you can easily work off the .jar file, dragging and replacing images as desired. sometimes editing the css is necessary, though.
how do i get the hover effect for the bookmark icon? and while i´m in that region, where do i set the text of the other bookmark-titles to bold?

hover? there might be 2 png files, one for normal, one for hover. i haven't played around with themes for a while, so i don't remember.
as for the bold, you might need to edit the css file.
hopefully someone else with more knowledge will come along and help you out.
