Complete Emulation

the thing is, PC to mac emulation or EMACULATION is why we are all here right?

now, i've been scouting the internet trying to find ways to make that dream come true.

There are various software such as:

Windowblinds, Objectbar, Object Dock, Nexplorer, Avedesk, iconpakager, and many many more.

but some of them require money, i dont have a credit card so thats out of the question. Just a few days ago i saw somebody having a finder toolbar mimicing OB but its clearly not. ok, help me out here.

since most of you guys here have been doing this long before i have- i was wondering if all of you could compile all the best, reliable and FREE mac emulation tools, skins, visual styles, themes, extensions and softwares to make it all happen.

i've already mentioned a few- thats just a start, maybe theres even one package with everything you need for FREE, you tell me. So? any suggestions?

I'd suggest you trawl through the forums yourself. You'd find everything you need that way. There's osx-e.com too.

Not only that but theres an excellent program by Rimmer that mimics OB...and its free.

Good advice by Ludge...have a look at the forums a bit, you'll find some great things, all at no cost to you. It's how the rest of us mod our desks too.

yeah i know, some are quie slow really. They got lots of great stuff there.

MY QUESTION - does anyone know a package filled with all sort of skins, visual styles, mods, files and others to make the PC exactly mimic OSX?

I'll try to come up with something. you try tooo.

Start here

As far as "perfectly mimicing OS X"......forget about it. It's not gonna happen. Sure you can get Windows to "look" like OS X but you can never mimic its functionality.

If you want to do that run an emulator like PearPC or just buy a Mac.

those apps will somewhat emulate the appearence of osx but when it comes down to it its still Windows with its virus probs and ugly apps, you can skin some apps, like trillian for example, you can make the buddy list look like ichat but soon as you msg someone and see the ugly white,red, and blue text you know cosmetics arent everything.
