[help] Kkmenu & Y'z Dock

hi all, i just installed kkmenu on y'z dock and i'm obsessed ... removed SOOOO many icons from my dock, and it's so much cleaner looking.

only problem is, since every dock icon links to kkmenu.exe despite that each icon loads a different menu.ini, every time i click on an icon, ALL of them bounce and the indicator pops up under every icon in the dock, which is sort of annoying.

anyway to fix this? is y'z instance-specific, meaning that if i somehow was able to name each instance differently, would y'z recognize it as a different program so that only one icon, the one i click, would bounce?

oh, and p.s. i realize this is a double post - the first one i posted was in the object dock forum as kkmenu was originally released for OD not Y'z ... but i'm now realizing that my question deals more with y'z behavior than the menu itself, so i'm shamefully double-posting this here.

if a mod wishes to merge the double posts please feel free - thank you.

Simply ...create 1 folder with kkmenu.exe and your .ini for each icon. Off course, every folder will have a different name, so YzDock will see that you´re calling differents .EXE.

That´s the only way i´ve found. and think is the only one

this is an old topic but i though i would put my solution on for future ref..

you can just copy paste the kkmenu.exe in the same folder..

in my folder i have

kkmenu.exe

kkmenu1.exe

kkmenu2.exe

and so on..

@ everyone, I was unaware that Kkmenu could be used with YzDock, I did some searching/reading and got some mixed answers that an older version(s) of Kkmenu (270a) was a stand alone executable and so could be run with Yz, whereas the more recent version(s) is a docklet specific to OD "0.8 (or 2.8 as it was known)," I was wondering where I might be able to find the most recent version of Kkmenu which would run on YzDock? Could someone possibly clarify the version question?

Version 2.80 is the last stand alone version. This is a .exe not a ObjectDock Docklet, thus can be used in many ways including with YzDock.

2.80 is the last standalone exe that was released..

currently the kkmenu docklet for objectdock is shareware.. the last free one is 0.3 but 0.3 is kinda buggy.. but it runs faster the 2.80 since it doesn't have to load the skin up everytime..
