[request] Searchbar...

Is this possible to make?

Dave's Quick Search Deskbar may work. If the box is styled via your VS / WB skin, then you would just need a style/skin that has a round address bar.

(PS: I've never tried it, a Google search for "active desktop searchbar" gave it to me)

If you try it, let me know how it goes, looks interesting.

I have tested it, it was good but not what I expected, to much stuff there..

I would like a search bar thats looks like the one in itunes, perhaps it will not work as fast as the one in itunes, but here is a idea...

1. Click on the search icon and choose google or harddrive... art tunes.. help...search in a pdf document... news...

2. The search can come up in a nice window or something like that.. perhaps diffrent for what you search for..

3. from that window you click on perahaps on a help topic and move on from there...

is this possible?

I've been using a kewl lil app from Pogz for a bit now. It's called run+.

Link it to the active section in objectbar and it will startup.

it has scriptable features so you can search, run, use cmd's, whatever.

It's skinnable too.

I am able to get the look on the menu bar using true launch bar's command plug-in and my own skin for the rounded corner w/ transparency...

it can search using google yahoo or any other search engine but i doesn't search the hd...

If anyone can make searching the local HD happening..that will be awesome!

borninhalloween, do u mind sharing this skin ur speaking of? i would like very much to have a taskbar tt look exactly like the one tt Orange showed in his 1st post too .....

as of now, i'm using Kol's Tiger WB4 skin, which is perfect. until i saw Orange's pic! which is God-Perfect! if i can implement the Dave's Quick Search Bar funtion to it..............my god, the next better thing is to own an apple :blink:
