Hey, when my friends msg me on the MSN i don't know until i check the "Window" which acts like a taskbar in the Ob. Any ways i could solve this problem , so when my friends msg me i get an alert or something which is visible ?

For me, mobydock bounces an icon in my face if anything becomes active...
You could set that ping sound in msn messenger to go off when someone msg's you.
You could also use a different client than msn messenger. [edit] Other clients have other options that msn doesn't have. ie: Gilly messenger shows an active foreground window when somebody opens yr window, etc [edit]
