Aqua-Soft ForumsHey everyone. I have this weird new problem with OB and it's difficult to explain, so bear with me. So far, it only seems to happen with crni's "updated" themes. Whenever I try to set the Finder menu to show the active window's text instead of static text, this problem happens. When a window with a large title appears on the bar, it pushes the "File, Edit, View, Go..." over to the right (like it's supposed to). However, when a window with a smaller title appears in the bar, the "File, Edit View, Go.." doesn't shift back over to the left. It just stays where it is. I'm very confused cause I don't know how to fix it. There's a screenshot to help explain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This happened to me as well so i had objectbar not show the active window title 
i was trying to figure this out last night bc i'm using crni's xicandy theme as a base for an amarch obbar theme. i noticed rpeterclark's panther obbar uses the method you (me) want:
you can get it to recollapse properly if you do the following:
1.right click obbar...properties. Highlight the 3rd 'folder' (should be Finder Menu?), go to the arrangement tab and uncheck 'allow this container to be resized'.
2.go to the extra options tab and set a max width (otherwise you'll get annoying active title widths)... around 200 maybe - check the box beside it too.
3.go to that folders sub folder (should be called Finder?-i changed stuff so i can't remember if these are the default names) and highlight (select) it. On the display tab, check 'use active windows text'.
it will recontract, and has a nice expansion width limit.

edit: i just realized i can't get the margins on my active window text to quite fit within my 'active tab' .bmp left and right margins. Its off by about about 5 pixels on both sides.
I've tried all (i think) of the padding and left,right text margin shifts in skinstudio (and the obskin files just to see if it was missing anything). Nothings working.
Does anyone know specifically what lines to change?
i'd upload a picture, but the limit is 5kb for the attachment(seems absurdly low).
edit2: forgot to say... all other text entries are perfectly spaced.
