Some Questions On Object Dock.

I have use object dock last time before but now i feel like going to use it back, i have a few questions.

1. I remember last time when playing games with object dock, it will lag the game or crash it when the mouse cursor reach the place where the object dock is. Will it still happen now?

2. How do i make the object dock so that when i press the show desktop button, the dock will still be there?

Thanks in advance.

The game hang thing is no problem. All you need to do is make a

DOS Batch script that will shut off the dock when you turn on your

game and automatically turn it on when you stop playing your game.

I think a long time ago someone posted this on here somewhere...

Anyway, if you have problems with it I can do it for you :) Just

tell me the letter of the HD on which your dock and your game are

on. About the dock disapearing when you press "Show Desktop" I

wish I knew myself. :) :naughty:

The only way to make the dock stay up is, of course, to set it to always on top, in which case show desktop shouldn't affect it. At least it doesn't get rid of mine; or, if you're willing to change your show desktop-ing habits, there's an alternate command, hide active windows, triggered by the windows-m key (instead of -d for show desktop) that minimizes windows but tends to leave other things, like desktop object things and object dock, alone. There's probably a command you could link an icon to that would do hide active windows instead of show desktop. I use windows-m now all the time, but it's not as powerful as show desktop... certain dialog windows don't go away with windows-m, etc. If you don't mind, that's an option.

With object dock v1.0 I never had a problem with games crashing when the mouse was over the dock location but it seems the bug is back in v1.02 as now whenever the mouse is over the dock and you left click whatever app your over at the time launches. (this is with the dock set to always-on bottom and mouse activation, is turned off, unchecked)
