[help] Display Properties

Hope someone could help me... :blink:

After playing around with some Windows Themes (just installing and looking for a good match with my current Wall) i getting some strange Probs.

I cannot do right click on Desk and then open the Display Properties.

If i try the Display Window will flash on Screen and then hide.

Same to most of all other Apps or Folders i try to start or open.

All of them are starting minimized and only getting displayed in Max. State

no "normal" Windows are showing on Screen ! :cry:

I tried all Themes located on my PC but the Problem is the same.

It does not make a difference whether i use WindowBlinds or the windows VS.

Anyone could help please !?!?

This is probably a stupid question, but have you tried restarting the machine? It often helpsyou know

I´ve tryed almost everything....but nothing help´s.

The whole thing is really annoying, even Save/Install and other Config Dialoges are not shown up and i cannot get them shown to Screen !?

can you go to the display properties from the control panel?

have you tried scanning for viruses/spyware? how about a chkdsk?

what did you do that may have caused this?

Run msconfig and launch system restore. Go back to when your comp was working fine. That should solve it.

Tried all of this ! No positive Result !

I think its really time for a clean Install
