[help] Can't Type In Text Anywhere

so i applied the skin, and it appears to be working fine. with exception that i cant type text in anywhere, in the address bar or in any entry fields on a website.. anytime i hit a key on the keyboard, that letter is highlighted within the webpage-and if i hit the same letter, it goes to the next word with the same letter- as if it were doing a search.. help!

and i don't know if this is a bug, but in the tab bar, the close button doesnt always work, and the buttons are reversed. i'm typing on my mac right now, and the close button is on the left of the tab, and the activity icon is on the right-whereas on safarifox, it's reversed..

ok, so i rebooted, and i suppose i can enter text correctly again. although i'm still having some problems with the tab bar. i noticed that the text of the tab is lower than it should be, and in a light gray color-just barely readable, and i cant figure out how to get rid of the close tab button all the way on the right, at the end of the tab bar...

help please? thanks

try clicking on your desktop, and then clicking on firefox (on the window, anywhere).

fixes it for me.

i've had the same problem since 0.6, and i don't know what's causing it.

I still have to click outside the app. then back in, too. The option I mentioned just fixes the problem of keystrokes highlighting links instead of entering text.

yep. same prolem here.. so i guess the general consensus is that we are all using objectbar?

can anyone confirm if this is an error within firefox itself, or is it the safarifox skin?

The problem seems to be connected to ObjectBar. The SafariFox theme does not affect it.

Excluding Firefox from ObjectBar doesn't help. Setting your home page to a site like Google makes the cursor appear in the textbox and you can enter text (since that page changes the focus to the box), but you can't edit the URL or search bar text until you click out of Firefox then back in.

You can also use the menus to open a dialog window, such as Options or Downloads, and then close that window to fix it.
