As far as I know there is no way to exclude specific applications with StyleXP. You can do it with Windowblinds - if you want to make your windows more 'macish', I higly suggest you to get it

StyleXP isn't the thing that is skinning windows when you use it. It's the themes service. In order to exclude programs using the themes service, and this works for WB too in addition to the built in exclusion list is to right click on the .exe and go to compatibility and choose disable visual themes.

Want my advise? Stick with StyleXP. It doesn't use any resources and doesn't slow down your computer.
He didn't ask for your advice, he just asked how to exclude a program with visual styles and I told him.
And FYI StyleXP does take resources, it's should be common sense that when you open any program it takes memory and StyleXP is an additional program to run that patches the security check in uxtheme.dll in memory and the themes service takes memory loading all the bitmaps in the theme not to mention the cpu has to stretch and blit those images to the window after having overriden the classic interface which is the only truly native interface in Windows.
You can use less resources by using a patch for said dll instead of using StyleXP but the themes service still takes some resources. If you are hurting for resources you should use classic instead but most peoples computers that have XP can handle StyleXP. the themes service by it'self or WB.
So I say if you want VS use the patched dll which is fine, you get themes that way use it that's all you need. Getting StyleXP is paying a company to patch the themes service and have an additional program to run over it.
If you want buttons on the left that light up at once like on the mac when mouseover and click individually, animated push buttons, sound, built in shading, built in Yz Toolbar, etc. use WB, which doesn't use signifigantly more memory (it uses 1.4mb) than the themes service and I should know because I use a slower computer than most people on this board.
P.S. If you aren't using the themes service you can shut it off to reclaim resources that it uses because it's always left open whether you are using it or not from services.msc. MS forgot to make it so it unloads by it'self when you aren't using it and loads when it gets called for and you can't set it to manual to do that.

One more thing, when you check "use no resources" in StyleXP and think that makes the whole thing use no resources you are misreading what they are saying. It means "Use no resources besides what is already used by the themes service by unloading this program after it patches the security check in memory". But that would be a lot to put in the dialog box.
So if you want to use visual styles use the patch and save money. =p
