[help] Making An Ipb Skin, Need To Make Tar File

hey,

for my forums im making a skin and it says that it needs to be in a .tar file. i downloaded picozip and when i went to add a folder, only the files in the folder were added and i don think it will work that way cause when i tried it it said that the skin was uploaded and i checked for it, ooops its not there

When making a skin, you need to do it on the forum itself, once you have made the skin then it can be exported from the forum, this makes the skin a .tar file, most sites that have skin will have the skin tar within a zip file, so open the zip until you see a file called "set-skinnamehere.tar" upload that file into the archive_in folder on your host, root dir for forum.

Once that is place in there you should be able to use the acp to import the skin.

If it not showing try chmod the file to 777
