Why is it product placement just because it's in the show? Lots of times the brand will be not showing on the products, but since Apple computers are so recognizable, you can tell anyway. Product Placement means Apple paid the show to use Macs.
For example, Apple has said they never paid to have Macs in 24 (Wired article on it), and Drew Carey is a huge mac fan, he probably did it for free.
Think its not product placement? How many PCs (running windows, not some funny psudo operating system that has unreasonable large text and is incredibly easy to hack into the NSA mainframe with) do you see in movies? Like none. But 95% of the home computers out there are PCs.
If I was making a movie, I'd prefer to show a pretty & elegant Mac than any other box... whether I was paid or not!

Every time I see a mac in a movie or a commerical I go out of my way to point it out! lol
Heres some I can recall from the top of my head:
- Six Feet Under (Clare's photography class uses iMac G4)
- Old Navy commercial (the one where the blonde chick is talking about fresh air - the whole office is G4's)
- Entourage (horrible show, but was flipping through channels when they used them in the office, including iSight)
- Charmed (Phoebe always uses an iBook - hate this show as well lol)
