What's The Status On New Aqua Apps?

beric: what's the status on your safari build? have you been able to get it into mozilla code, or is it still based on IE? any new features we can look forward to in the next version?

hyperb0le: how is the system prefs coming along? it's been awhile since we've seen anything new, and i think alot of people are interested to see your progress

alilm: what's your next project? still working on the quicktime replacement, or are you moving onto a new application?

i think alot of people would like to know the status of these projects...lets get some updates!

I was forced to take a break from the System Preferences application because i spent the last 2 weeks either at school (weekdays) or at Honor Band (Weekends)

That is all done now tho and i am resuming work on it.

I have pieces of code for almost all the section but only the Desktop panel is close to finished.

I have a 4-day weekend this week, so hopefully i will be able to release a pre-pre-pre-alpha with just the desktop panel in it.

Also, if anyone with a mac can help me get the few remaining screenshots i need (i have shots of most things, i just need a couple more), then MSN me (hyperb0le@hotmail.com)

Sounds great Hyberbole. I could possibly get you some screenshots also. My friend has a Mac. But, I have a few questions about your great, soon to be, system preferences app.

When switching between sections will the window animate shrinking and growing. That would just be the end right there. The world would have to end.

Are you going to incorporate everything into it, or just certain sections. If you plan to leave any out, I am curious which ones?

At the moment the window doesnt animate the shrinking/growing, but it would be easy enough to add. However, that would probably make the program run slower.

I am hoping to include all of the panels, however, due to the nature of windows i will have to grey out some items (such as the "Minimize using Genie Effect" menu in the dock panel.

3 apps I've created but their out of date now.

Maybe this April 2003, I can create an iSync app that can communicate to Apple Devices. Or an isync with nothing on it. Just for screenshot purposes. But I will try on creating iSync that communicates.

The Address Book app on my site is VERY old. I didn't make it, I donwnloaded it from somewhere about a year and a half ago.
