Aqua-Soft ForumsYou maybe be disappointed that in WWDC ( http://www.apple.com/quicktime/qtv/wwdc04/ ) dont introduce new iMac G5. But few days ago in Apple imac website and apple store website read this:
"iMac Availability
Apple has stopped taking orders for the current iMac as we begin the transition from the current iMac line to an all-new iMac line which will be announced and available in September. We planned to have our next generation iMac ready by the time the inventory of current iMacs runs out in the next few weeks, but our planning was obviously less than perfect. We apologize for any inconvenience to our customers.
Contact your local Apple Store or Authorized Reseller to check their availability of the current iMac. "
Funny that in news ( http://www.apple.com/hotnews/ ) or somewhere else have not any info from this!
I have say that this is very rare when Apple itself say that something new is coming to market. Maybe that was necessity because that "old" imac sell so well that you dont find it any more from apple store.
I like that that old iMac, it was so cute. New is (very trusted rumour) that new imac G5 is "pizzabox". That mean that all main system (mainboard, processor, memory etc) is behind from TFT. I dont like ideea what Apple is only company that has change to make from that kind computer look fine.
