Itms Counting Down To 100 Million Songs

Apple has started a promotiong counting down from 95 million to 100 million song downloaded from their online music store.

On a milestone 100,000 song downloaded (starting at 95 million up to 100 million), that person will recieve a 20GB iPod.

The lucky 100 millionth downloader will recieve an 17" iBook, 40GB iPod and a gift certificate for 10,000 songs.

It is available for all music stores world wide.

Whoops, all variants of "purchase" should be "download." So, by the wording, yes they should count toward the elgibility. There are no official rules, so it's hard to say.
