Objectdock Menus

Has anyone opened up ObjectDock.exe (recent versions, I would imagine), with Reshacker? I was looking to see if I could tinker with a particular setting so I thought to see what ObjectDock.exe contains in terms of resources, and I found a lot of give-aways to, I would imagine, up-and-coming features (although, much of what I found has already been hinted at, but these menus show the actual potential options associated with those features.)

I didn't know if I just missed someone else posting about this before though, and nothing immediately came up with a search... so if this is a repeater, sorry, otherwise, I can post more about what's in there (or you can check it out yourself ;) )

*Edit: more important than the menus, the new/unimplemented dialogs*

well I also took a peep :

tab support ?!

multiple docks ?!

more control on dock's behaviour ?!

hope this will come true.

ObjectDock is exe-compressed with an unknow method, so you can't open it directly with ResHacker. You have to uncompress the .exe first.

The only way I found is to extract from RAM the running process (which is here unpacked). Some tools do the job for you, but it is complex stuff :) And you have to use a fix-size method too, to tweak the size of the uncompressed file (OD wont run otherwise :().

I managed it long time ago, and could partially translate the exe; You can make it, but I don't believe you will find experimental features or menus...

Err....? I wasn't asking if it were possible to do so, I was saying that I did open it in ResHacker. And there are experimental menus/dialogs. Maybe the latest version of ObjectDock isn't exe-compressed--in any case, ResHacker opens it fine.

? Remember the seperator hack? It was in od except jef didn't want it revelead until 1.0 rc, so he didn't add an option for it, u had to edit the ini yourself. :)

You did it without an exe-uncompress tool ?? The exe changed a lot since 1.0 !

And I apologize, didn't read your post correctly

Mmh, I'm going to try this ResHack trick right now... :)

EDIT : Confirmation. The exe is no more compressed. And believe me, the dialogs are much better organized than they were : all the components of the main config-dialog were superposed; nightmare for a translator ;)
