Can someone explain?

Might have something to do with the makers of DVD X Copy losing their case in court. Maybe they didn't want the same kind of attention. I'm sure someone else can better inform you though

buy a cd...that software makes a PERFECT replica of it..to another cd or to a fake cd drive. This is all drivers and registry editing to make your OS think you have a cd there..I wont explain to much of it's other features cause this vould lead to a warez disscoussion..So people please don't explian all it's evil features. This software is aimed to be used for backing up your PURCHACED cds...other than that I can't say much else here...

i just use it for virtual drives.

and OMG i just lost 50 bucks if it becomes illegal! i might just continue using it. i mean, i PAID money for it! and i dont use it for illegal purposes, if somoene else does thats their problem. i just use it to make image files of some of the games i play a lot so i dont have to reinsert cds and all that

Sorry for sorta hi-jacking your topic, but can anyone reccomend a good, solid, free DVD-ripping program? I spent all night searching for one, but all of them are either crap, don't work or are expensive. Anyone? :blink:
