[help] Itunes: R.i.p.

Hi

I have a problem with iTunes: ever since day 1 when it was released it crashed when I tried to play an MP3, so I just let go and went back to QCD which I didn't mind.

But now after some months I decided to see if it was any different and went and got version 4.6. Same thing. It plays wav and acc just fine, but not mp3. But wait, i thought maybe it had some conflict with another app or something so i randomly killed some processes just to see. And it started working. So I was like OK forget QCD and went and got the multi-plugin, font and taskbar mods, album art for ~300 cds, and everything was going fine, visuals worked and the lot.

But after like 4-5 days I restarted and it was back to crashing with mp3s. Then I killed all the running processes i could and it still didn't work. But after like an hour it started working. And now it's fvcked again :(

I don't know what's going on, what should i do?

Install a bunch of codecs just to see? Maybe iTunes doesn't like my sound card?
