[help] Ibp Skinning And Web Page Layering

Hi,

I am trying to create a skin for my ipb forums and a friends. I need to know if i edit the pictures included in the zip file from ipb or they give a template pack or what?

Also, i need to know if there are any websites with information on using layers for pictures and text and what not.
