Beta Testers Wanted

Hey guys,

While the public release and even first beta releases are a couple of weeks off (at least) I thought it would be easier to sort out some beta testers now rather than wasting time when its ready for testing.

So what kind of people am I looking for? People who will test the app in every aspect, designers are favoured to suggest more tool ideas etc

I think Im gonna make it quite a big beta test possibly about 15 people, maybe 20.

It'll be a first come first basis sorta thing, but i'll favour people I know will be good testers. I'll get back to you if youre chosen and then keep you updated as progress continues.

Something I find funny is how many of you emailing me saying you love my apps, but will any of you donate? Nnoooo

Ive got about 6 (or so) places taken so far, nearly everyone whos emailed me has made it

i would love to make a donation, but im having trouble understanding what some of the things are its aksing me.

what does it mean for payment for,

how do i figure out what a pound is in american $

if i can figure that out than consider it done

Oh yeah I should probably clear this up for some people.

$10 (at time of writing) = £5.467

When your at the payment page, where it says payment for: just type Alilm Apps or something, it doesnt matter.

You can check £ - whatever rates here...

Alternatively you can donate in your own currency. In paypal's own words (after clicking the ? next to the amount field...

On the Payment Details page, we will show you the current exchange rate and the equivalent amount in your Primary Currency (generally, U.S. Dollars). When you pay, we will handle the conversion for you.

As always, donations are greatly appreciated and help future development and free apps in the future.

I'm also looking for a couple of testers that run Linux, I'm thinking about porting this app for the Linux platform. So that would really help me. Bare in mind the linux version is a maybe, but even so If I can do it, I'd like to.

Ok the beta testers have been chosen (Cerebral I haven't got your email yet but I've counted you as in ) you'll all hear from me in 2-3 weeks about the state of the app and I should have a beta for you all to try out.
