Sigs And Avatars
WELL i decided to go with the xxbox logo for mine. i absolutely like that thing.and if you mod it, you can play vcds you create fromm your camcorder or whatever. i havent done it because it voids the warranty, but it maeks that thing a really useful machine. neways...
my sig deals with what i have and what i play. its pretty much what i like to use at gamespot also.

anyway i like my sig a lot. pe7er made the yamato machi banner several months ago, i did some fast cropping and resizing crap for the bush thing, which when clicked takes you to an eloquent indictment of the current regime. and my av is lou freakin reed, man.

gosh guys, calm down. lou, itll be alright. yes yes, you are the 1000th member here and im proud of you. so proud you deserve a medal.
however, it seems to me that although we might question why mods and admins do things they do them for a reason. maybe they dont have time to tell everyone why a post is deleted.
many MANY posts are deleted, and writing PMs to everyone that did it woudl take forever. many threads get cleaned up so theres no offtopic/junk/etc stuff. lou, dont take it to heart. no one hates you, its just that they have a job to do and it doesnt end, so that one post, while it may ahve been dear to your heart (and bless its soul) was just one of MANY. imagine writing 100 emails a day to people explaining it.
now what COULD happen is if the admins create a few template messages and just insert people's names when thigns happen if they arent too serious...deleting a post would be a good example.
eh, its just a thought.

Lou, i can see your post in the deleted forum, a mod must've deleted it and not notified you... we usually notify members, you know that by now.
Whoever deleted your message (And mine for what is worth) should've posted about the deletion or at the very least had the courtesy of PMing you about it, i apologize for that.
Noefexx: Messages are hardly ever deleted here, if they are removed, they are removed for a good reason and the members involved are messaged about it + a general notice is posted in the forum from which the messages came from. However, this is not usually the case. We had a trashcan in which messages were sent to die in IPB 1.3, members could still view them and read them, but not reply.
It is important for me that you know about the trasnparency we like to keep here in A-S (aside from some glitches like this one)

I'm sure this sounds like a really stupid question but unfortunately I'm still learning a lot of this and am not real sure as to which programs many of you are using to make your signatures. I am referring especially to the rectangular shaped sigs usually that include ones name and their website or I/M user name, etc. Usually all it takes for me is to be pointed in the right direction as far as software is concerned and from there I know enough to figure a lot of it out. Thanks a lot guys for any input..............I appreciate those of you who are patient with me!
