[help] Creating Minimal Shell32.dll

i'd like people to test and/or help modify the file to point out and fix the remaining flaws.

here's an update.

the file version is 6.00.2800.1233, just so you know.

i've all the icons i could, but i left out 1. the ones for which i could not find suitable replacements and 2. icons that i never see in daily use.

i also did not replace bitmaps, so they're still aqua. i don't use the toolbar, but it'd be nice if i could create the bitmaps for them one day.

i'm looking to accomplish:

1. replacing the icons in the avis (essentially creating new ones).

2. removing unnecessary elements to shrink the file.

some questions:

1. where are the menu icons located? i replaced the relevant icon groups, but some refuse to change (see attached pic), despite repairing the cache. maybe they're in the icon section, so i missed them. any ideas?

2. i replaced folder icons as well, but when i swapped shell32, the folders didn't change. it might have to do with iconphile, but i don't know.

try to re-reclean icon cache , sometimes it dident make it in the good way

1) Ugh, couldn't you have waited four more days? Then this thread bump would have been an even year! Hopefully, you realize thread bumping is against the rules. This is something more suited for a PM to dreamz.

2) Even IF you still wanted this, do you realize the shell32.dll would be FAR outdated by this time? I know for a fact that it's been updated since June 30th of last year. You COULD use Batchmod, but again, you still should have sent a PM to dreamz.
