'net Security Monitor Org Says "don't Use Ie!"

Users are being told to avoid using Internet Explorer until Microsoft patches a serious security hole in it.

The loophole is being exploited to open a backdoor on a PC that could let criminals take control of a machine.

i think im going to keep using it. i have a firewall/intrusion detection running. and besides, i have a complete backup of my system. and hey, these things happen all the time. windows xp is far from perfect and needs to get patched frequently....its nothing new. whatever. enjoy using...what else can you use besides internet explorer? its just cool how you can switch between it and windows explorer by typing in a new address. can you do that with the others?

I don't think a firewall will help you from a javascript exploit...

Either way, why stick with horrid IE when there are far better browsers?!

Mozilla FireFox for example!
