Well, that was a hectic two hours!
We've finally got the new structure in place, and the new rules are now official and (pretty much) final.
There may be a few changes yet, but they'll mostly just be semantics and so forth.
With regards to the site structure, we're still playing with things like forum descriptions, and we had to hack IPB to allow multi-level sub-forums, but it works (even if it does make administration a little harder).
You may also notice a lack of an IconPackager forum in the Stardock forum... That's because I broke it. Don't worry, though, normal IconPackager service will resume as soon as I work out what needs to go back where to make it work...
What's next?
The next step is to for us to start moving topics to their new homes, and for Tim and I to work out the final descriptions for the forums. Whilst the latter is merely a nicety, it's something we need to do, really.
The former, however, will be a major task, and I intend to recruit a crack team of members whose sole purpose over the next week or so will be to assist me with moving, tagging, and keywording topics.
Don't ask to be in this team - Tim and I will choose members who we feel would benefit the team the most. Also, these members will not have full moderating powers, and will only have the powers they do have for a limited period.
Now that's all said, go back to enjoying Aqua-Soft!
