[help]need Help...

Last day I just completed install Windows XP in my pc. However I can't get this thing(Volume control) off from my taskbar. I don't want it launch at startup. I had open msconfig.exe but find nothing inside there. :blink:

Go into Control Panel.

If you're in "Category View" (it says "Pick a category" at the top), click "Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices".

Click "Sounds and Audio Devices".

In "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties", on the "Volume" tab, uncheck "Place volume icon in the taskbar".

Apply liberally.
