Ok a while ago i got bored one day and made a FAKE desktop..
it's hosted on geocities, but the link is to a html file not directly the image 
any way what do you all think? Yea thats iTunes and McBar.. i took screen shots for all of them 
can't remeber who made the wallpaper though..
Well....to be honest, it's the worst desktop i've ever seen. And I'm pretty sure i will never see something that horrifying ever again

i think you are missing the point, its not an actual desktop, its something he put together

what exactly is a fake desktop......i can take a screenie of mine and call the actual picture a fake desktop...i dont get it
I guess he started with the wallpaper, and just made new layers with all the other stuff on top. Like, he didnt press print screen, but made it in Photoshop.
You didnt make the wallpaper yourself did you?
shouldnt a fake desktop be something u cant do really
like those fake longhorn sshots with the transparency and other effects
or maybe nobody can get their desktop to look this crap

Agreed I loved Windows 2000 I ran it from its release to the release of XP Pro and it never crashed once!
