What Do I Buy This Weekend!

sup aquasofters?!?

ok heres my problem if u can call it a problem, at my job u get payed every 2 weeks, and it literly takes a month before u get your first paycheck. well, im getting my first one this thursday. and its gonna be a big one, like 900-1000 depending on what the gready state of CT takes from me . And i have a couple things on my shopping list.

1. new computer desk...this one

2.A shinny new motherboard and power suply for my new case.

3.An iSub for my pc(yeah thats right... already using apple pro speakers)

4.Gas money (almost 2.50 a gallon)(stupid econimy)(stupid truck takes MORE than 50 bucks to fill it)

and i need to save money for basic spending for the next 2 weeks untill i get payed again.

so should i just buy everything. :woot:

or just 1 or 2 and hang on to the rest :cry:

oh yeah. my mom is swipping 300 of it for her vacation. im gonna call the cops on her. :staffs here:

OH, and if i get everything its not gonna leave me any money to spend on my girlfriend :sadwalk:

oh and if u dont wanna feel left out, what are u gonna buy this weekend (besideds hookers and booz(that was aimed at u LS)

Order of importance should really go;

Girlfriend, Computer, Extras.

Not every girl is going to get excited that you decided to spend your cash on a PSU and stuff rather than her.. :6

And the desk seems rather pricey to me - B&Q used to have a super sweet glass curvy desk (I've got the wood version), and it was only some £90-£120. But whatever floats your boat I suppose.

girlfriends really don't have to be the number one all of the time. trust me, i'd gladly take second chair to a cool new desk. personally, i'd rather my boyfriend be happy then buy me stuff.

You think that's bad - $2.50 is £1.37

There are 3.75 litres to a gallon, and we pay £0.829 per litre. That works out as £3.10 per gallon. Which is $5.64!

As for what to buy, I'd say go out somewhere nice for dinner with your girlfriend. I know mine would appreciate that a lot more than buying anything

I totally agree with viper..... the price you pay for gas is cheap....

In france 1 litre = 1.10 €, it make almost the same amount as viper, $5,10

Whatever, I'll buy the desk, it look so futuristic, I like it....

wow. this turned into a girlfriends vs computers thread.

dont worrie about my eve(girlfriend) i spoil her every chance i get.

as for what i need. i deffently need a new desk. the one im currenly using is a cheepy i got when i got out of college. and it already broke. like one side of it fell off and i had to nail it back in place but it wobles like crazy. even now when i type it wobles. and the draw were the keyboar rollz out. keeps falling too. so everytime i play halo and i get noobed i bang on the draw and my keyboard and mouse all fall with it to the floor.

the building computer stuff i dont really need, cuase my vaio im using right now works fine. so if after the desk it dosn't look like ill have too much left. i can wait.

oh and my eve HATES it when i buy computer stuff cuase its attention she isn't going to get when i get it and play with it, and she hates this site, and my computer, cuase she used a mac once and it crashed and she lost some paper she was working on.

I would wait until PCI express comes out, but that wont be out for another couple more months . Trust me it is worth the wait if ya want a fast comp. Hey can I have some gas money pretty plz

a little update. today is PAYDAY!

my mom is talking about taking half of my paycheck now... shes an evil woman...maybe thats were i got it from .

so im thinking about computer now. desk later. only cuase the motherboard and power suply will be half what the desk would be. and i dont want to spend ALL my money.

and this is coming from a guy from texas. i love trucks. its just that gas prices are killing....and you seriously cannot afford a truck....im surprised u have one!!!! its not you, its your gas prices! if only they were lower, man.

neways, until they go down, save urself a LOT of money and sell that thing and buy a truck. what kinda truck is it? make/model/year?
