 :woot: :P Yeah, I am with Carbonfiber...I'd rather test out the Ferrari (or in this case the file manager) instead of looking at pictures...

#180786

Nice work man. I really like it. If you need any help with the graphical aspect of this feel free to contact me via email. I would love to assist you in this if possible. As far as the program itself goes, looks great can't wait to see more of it.

#181048

cool looks like the aero browser over at neowin AeroBrowser thread

#181049

I would love to assist you in this if possible.

First, i will create a first release of the "Working" application.

After that, i will implent a method of skin substitution.

(The app is stand alone, but if it find skin images in the subfolder Skin, it will use them instead)

In other word, i begin by creating a working application, after that we will skin it

Thanks for your proposition, i will contact you and other skinner participant in future releases...

wow awesome a longhorn like filemanager iv always wanted one hehehe!

one interesting concept iv seen in the Longhorn demo screenshots is, any place you have been in, a screenshot of the window gets placed up on the thick toolbar. so if i went from my computer.. to My documents.. it wouldshow My computer.. C: drive up in the top bar as screenshots so you can easily go back!

this is lookin very nice!!

Looks slick, man

I like that you came up with a lot of original features for your file browser too.

Maybe I should also try something more original than a finder clone( I mean nexplorer) next time.

Let me know if you have any problems building your browsing engine. I also had to make my own file browsing engine for Nexplorer and learned a lot about shell programming on the way. I know you are capable of doing everything on your own but I may be able to help you save some time. I am willing to share my little knowledge.

Good luck with your app.

Are you serious....

try something more original than a finder clone( I mean nexplorer) next time

Funny, you are talking of nexplorer like it was the only one finder clone !!!

Don't be affraid, my objective is not port an existing application but to create one with all advantage.

Of course, some features are present in both projects because we are both creating eyecandy file manager

By the way, You should read with more attention :

Feature rejected : Sliding-panel browsing (I SAID NOT A FINDER CLONE) ( FOR THOSE WHO ARE DISSAPOINTED, LINEAR TREE WILL BE FABULOUS)
