my monitor won't go into standby even after the specified amount of time. i've set the option by going to the power options in the control panel and set "turn off monitor" to "after 15 mins," but nothing happens.
at first i thought something might be active, so it's never truly idle, but i doubt it.
any ideas? thanks.
How recent is your monitor?
Also, have you had it working before?
Not all monitors support the power controls, more specifically, old stuff...
it's a new monitor. i've never tried the power saving mode before, but i know it supports it. my friend has the exact same one and hers works.
i found that after a while, the monitor will go black and "no input signal" will appear on the screen, but it's not on standby (the light is still green, not orange, as it should be).
