Aqua-Soft Forumsi have reshacker and the system tray icons i need but i don't know which file/what to do in order to change my system tray icons to the mac look. icemans page has a link to a tutorial but it no longer exists, could anyone help me out?

Well then post it in one board, not 3...flooding won't get anywhere any faster than one post will.
To answer your question...the files you edit depend on which program you are editing..trillian and other programs are pretty easy...while some are harder.

im new to this forum site. . .the ones i am a regular to nobody posts on more than one board. since there were 3 topics it fit into i thought it would be okay to post 3 different threads, my mistake

that works for the DLL packages but then all id have to do is replace the ones in my system folder, what he does though is gives you the .ico files to download and there a link to a tutorial that doesnt exist, so theres no information on what files the .ico files need to be replaced in.

What actual files do you want to mod?
Most programs that have tray support have their icons stored in their executable file. (ie: winamp.exe). This rule has a few exception though... ie: qcdplayer. It's files are modded into another linked *.dll.
If you tell us the files/programs you wan't modded I'm think somebody could help you here.

These can all be modded by reshacking their executable. All you need is a icon editor and you can change their colour/saturation/hue. (usually to black - white).
Save the file and you can put them back in the proggie.
I don't own a nVidia card but I'm pretty sure you mod a file called nvmctray.dll. put a little 16x16 icon there. You could copy it off a good quality screenie and turn it into an icon.
With the network connections indicator, I'm not sure which part of it you want to moddify...

thank you, one question though, that isn't the icon set i was thinking of, im searching through one by one right now, but its the network connections notification in the windows xp pro toolbar

If you can convert them to *.png you can use '@icon sushi'. Drag and drop them into the main window, export as *.ico, reshack the desired files with the new ones and your Set.
With AIM, winzip, etc, you will probably need to export the original files and mod them in a converted format.
@icon sushi can export icons as *.png's, then you can edit them in photoshop, paintshop or the gimp, etc... Change the convert them to black.white,sauration, whatever and save them.
And use @icon Sushi to convert them back.
Then reshack them back in.
