I am creating album art for my girlfriend's band, does this look good?
Their name is "Better In Blood" and they aren't quite sure what the album's name is,
that is why I put "Don't Know Yet" at the bottom instead of the album name, for now.

You might wanna make the center image a little less pixelated, though - it detracts from the overall feel of the cover.
Also, I'm not sure what it is, but it feels... Lacking. Just like there's an indescribable something missing...
i was thinking that too but refrained from posting.
i think its the two bar layout in combination with the font... the font is a bit to 'corporate' or sterile or something.
the colour and the image are good, and catch your eye, but the packaging throws it off(i think)... its music; you want the image in front of you like your connected to it but that layout makes it feel detached. Its almost like its a bit too professional, like its a webpage design on a cd cover.
i don't know if that makes sense, maybe not

Cool idea. I think the image might be a bit too "senior picture"-ish though.
definitely need to make the image less pixelated... but as for the rest of it... I am sort of like steviebm. I think it is missing something, but I cannot place my finger on it. sorry
Well that grayish area on the right is something I'm going to work on when I get other pictures of the band, instead of just her. Thanks for the other covers to look at Stevie, I was actually lookin' at this one, I liked that, so I think I'm going to work with that space on the right, but she seems to like that pixely, sparkley look. I did the photomanip a while ago, and she wanted it on the cover of her album, so I did this.

I think a blur effect would fit than the pixelated effect. Like Stevie said, it kind of disturbes the overall impression of the album.

MACROMEDIA FIREWORKS! its money well spent! it has less filters than photoshop, but once you use it, you'll never go back...i swear. if i can figure out how to post a girl in bra/panties safely ill show you...i colored in the chair shes sitting on, its just a beautiful picture.
