[release] Moydock Dx 0.87 Mac Os X 10.3 Theme

The best Mobydock Mac OS X theme has finally come! Icons and Backgrounds is both 1 pixel higher than original Mac OS X 10.3 and i cant change default black arrow to my own. Otherwise theme is 1:1. The transparency ration is perfect and left and right edge it is 1:1. It is so same that if you can take screenshot and compare to real one, it's almost impossible say which is real.

I can make also Objectdock Theme. To get more realistic Objectdock Mac OS X Dock i think that all icons has resize smaler so it look like Background is biger = more look like Real Mac OS X.

So if people want make Objectdock to look like real Mac OS X, they have resize all icons smaler size (but still use 128x128 icons). That was reason why i like MobyDock. It's same BG size than Mac OS X 10.3 and Icons dont need resize to look real Mac OS X 10.3. And Mobydock start like real (slide to up) and mag effect is almost same like real.

Offcourse if people satified with only real Mac OS X Background, i can only make Mac OS X Backgroud to ObjectDock. But i gonna study with photoshop what is resize percent so icons and background are same aspect ration.

Is some really use still Y'z Dock? It's there something that not in Objectdock or Mobydock? Myself i havent notice any killer feature from Y'z Dock.

We're 'old school' - thats why we use Y'z

But this release looks amazing - and the only thing stopping me from using Moby before was the look. I'm downloading now.

You have released some quallity work latelly. :D

Keep it up.

The only issue I have with this theme is the background. I like my dock as small as it will go. It adds a really big space either side of the seperator when I use it like this... :(

#179395

Everything is soo blurry and when not zoomed, the icons are edgy.... Thats why I dont use Mobydock..... I think its my graphics card... GeForce 4 Ti 4200

#179431

It's meant to be 'blurry'. The *real* dock is like that too...

#179435

thanks a lot! this might actually give me reason to switch....im using object dock. i was about to switch before, but i def. prefered object dock...but we'll see! :D

#181276

there should only be a litttttllle bit of bluryness (mine is jsut right) but some graphics card do not function right with it and make it EXTREAMLY blurry

so its not MD's fault but a setting/your vid card

It is very simple solution.

Only crop separator.png to smaler in weight size in photoshop or other programs.

I make wider (well that is not really so wide, but if you have about 10 pix icon side, then that separator could look "big") separator so it look in normal size more Mac OS X look.

Fantastic work ! It's a first theme that looks like original OS X !

+1 vote to take this to OD

I also love Mobydock, but had to resort to Objectdock due to certain issues with mobydock and the XP OS. As an FYI to anyone using Mobydock, if you're on a wireless network, have a server at home or work that you need to "synchronize files" with, and have mobydock running, the synchronize function will crash. Some how, synchronize offline files and mobydock somehow conflict with each other.

as I'm sure most of you don't use this feature, enjoy the some of the nifty features that only mobydock offers (sniff sniff), but if you do use offline files, at the very least, shut off mobydock before attempting to synchronize files, otherwise, objectdock also works very well.

Does anyone know if th developer of mobydock plans to release another version of this dock?

I miss the ignore item list. =(

Objectdock dock is ready. It was very easy make that dock. Only few modification and that's it. I release it in few days. When i say that Objectdock Icons and Background is not real aspect ration and Icons have reduce, i think that is too difficult if that have make to all icons. So i dont gonna change those 128x128 Icons size.
