I just had a 2 quick questions...
1. I currently have Windows XP Home, but I want to upgrade to XP Pro.
Can I just buy the XP Pro Upgrade Disk? or Do I have to buy the fulll version?
2. If I do upgrade, do I have to re-install all my programs?

All the upgrades do is ask for a previous Windows disk. If you have it, it installs the OS. There is no difference other than the fact that one asks to see an older version of Windows CD.
Edit: Forgot about the second part. You can choose (when you install) to install over your existing OS, thus would leave all programs there (Program Files and such). Some, however, may need to be reinstalled because of some system files will be deleted. And the start menu will get wiped, but they will still be located in Program Files.
I would suggest to start from scratch. You will have to reinstall everything, but at least your hard drive will start over and have less fragmentation.
