I have done some searching on this, but have not found a good answer to my question. What I want to know is if it is possible to change the icon size in Windows XP's "Tiles" view. If anyone could point me to a topic that may not have come up in my searches, or knows the answer to this question, I would appriciate it, Thank you.

Doing that will change the icons in the normal icon view, but not the "tiles" view, but thanks anyway for responding. ![]()
Seems like one of hardcoded values to me.
Not hardcoded...you can change it!
TweakUI has that option (under Explorer/Thumbnails), at least the version I have contains that feature... try it at
hxxp://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
you'll see there....
Cheers!
I think you misunderstood him, he means the tiles view, not the thumbnails view.
Never mind, Loofy said it... ![]()
Yes I did... sorry...I should really start read stuff more carefully... ![]()
Hope you find the solution for the problem...
I have noticed when playing around with xteq x-setup that it is related to the small icon size but setting that size also messes up other things.
You could do it if you have WindowFX...
There is an option in Desktop Icons, where it says Desktop Icon Mode... And it says Show icons in Tile Mode (Xp-Only)
That's a possible way... ![]()
