[ann] Itunes Music Store Launched
Yup, but you still have 75% of the worlds' pop out of it. Although there are workarounds.
Edit: What's clasified as "Europe"? To my knowledge there are several contries in that continent, but the directory it is in is called "UK" (which is only England and Scotland).
0.99euro per download in France & Germany. Cheaper than here.
And Wales and Northern Ireland ![]()
Apparently there is the UK version, a version for countries using the Euro, and there will be a total Europe one by october.
EDIT
Just checked again...
They dont even have RADIOHEAD! That is the most popular music that I listen to and I don't really like anything but the Kid A album becuase of the electronics in it.
@juno - doesnt the iTunes store have practicaly every major album or single in it? as much as mvc or any other major record shop?
i quote "700,000 tracks from five major labels and more than 450 independents", god you are picky! hehe :6 ![]()
No Radiohead? ![]()
I dont see any:
Jega
Aphex Twin (most famous person in electronica world)
Four Tet
Funkstörung
Squarepusher
Bola
Autechere
Jimmy Edgar
Múm
The list goes on...not many people have the mental stamina to listen to music with not a single word. Nope, sorry, no samples, no nothing (couple artsists have some samples). I listen to beeps blips and staticy drums put together to make very interesting music. People dont undertstand it so they dont like it. Then I show them some of my favorite songs and they either love it or hate it. You will notice there are no Dj fillintheblanks there because most Dj's do house music which I can't stand. Boom CHICK boom CHICK boom CHICK realllly repetetive beats that get boring quickly.
I guess I do listen to realllly obscure music so I shouldn't expect them to have it. They put up the most popular music so people will buy it I guess.
Well Jega, Múm, they're not very well known, i bet they have Sigur Rós.

Yes they do, they have the ba ba ti ki di do EP.
I forgot about that one...
Grab this song to get and idea of what electronica is:
This is quite good, reminds me of Mogwai or maybe even Radiohead (Idiotheque).
You have good taste in music ![]()
*downloads some more Funkstörung*

First time anyone has said that to me, other than my sister who introduced me to electronic (I didn't listen to any music before August last year, when I got my iPod)
Oh yeah, Appetite for Distruction is their best album...some really glitchy songs.
I've played with Radiohead!...
I have no idea what any of those bands, groups are...Anyways, cool bh2, they must have rocked! And on another note, I think it should be called soccer...
i have a feeling aphex twin can be bought online without drm crappyness, much nicer than getting ripped off by apple. Was he with warp records?

And he still is. Yeah, Richard can be bought many places other than the Apple store along with some of the other artists as well.
This is actually where I download alot of music when I pay:

erm... wait theres no Steve Vai! Ive got all his albums anyway but Id still like the choice ![]()
oh wait they have 3 Vai songs under Satriani and only have 4 Satriani songs while the US gets 221!. Im sorry but NO! I aint using iTMS untill its sorted out the selection is crap! Browsing the US store I started to build a mental list of songs to buy and I see none of them!
God dam Apple giving the US first rate while the rest of us wait again.
Not happy with the release ![]()
