Aqua-Soft ForumsDoes anyone know how to make the status bar hide permanently in the internet explorer? I mean, everytime i open IE the status bar appears in the bottom,so I have to go to the View options and uncheck it but next time I open IE the status bar appears again. How to hide it permanently?

hmm that's really strange coz I just unchecked the option and closed the browser. The status bar didn't show up the next time I loaded IE...
there is a registery tweak (as allways 
) but i dont recall it right now. will look into it for you.
Actually the reason why status bar kept appearing every time was because I've been using window washer like 5 times a day and it washed the thing that i unchecked it.But,if you can find it in the registry let me know so it doesnt appear even if i use the washer.Thanks
