Aqua-Soft ForumsI know you can replace system animations by dll hacking but for a non graphical guy like me getting the image, converting it, and making sure it fits all the parameters it is supposed to is a lot of work. Then you have to go through the hassle of hacking the dll which isn't hard, just annoying.
So I figured I would request from one of the resident genius programers around here a program to do all that for us. Ideally the prog should be able to read animated gif's and avi files. It should allow you to manipulate the variables for the dialog you are changing. And it should convert the file you opened into the proper format with relative speed.
On the would be nice list it would be cool if it allowed you to add animations to dialogs that do not currently have them. WinT's site as tut on how to do that but I'm lazy and as long as your programming..... If you do that you will basically have a program that allows you to easily accses and modify all of windows componets.

Just throwing the idea out there. An app like this would really allow people to take windows modding to the next level.

possible. a) because I doubt this strengthens the stability of Windows in any way, but maybe I'm wrong here too.
