I work at comp usa and I can also attest to this.. Our Apple rep was saying how they have some new monitors in the works and if I thought the 23" was huge just wait.. So I will also confirm this rumor..

the 30" one? according to the article it's 2560x1600 
it's got more vertical pixels than my monitor on horizontal (1280x1024 - 17")

Personally, I trust Apple to make the displays look nice and feel "fresh" and original. The artist's impression looks very similar to Eyegonomic displays, but that's hardly a BAD thing..

i`d rather take one of those 30 inchers <_<
PS i write for an Apple owned magazine and i`m still waiting for a confirmation from my boss. Don`t get me wrong but i doubt that CompUSA pple would know about the new displays before pple at Apple. I`m not saying they`re not coming, i`m just saying that i still don`t have confirmation.
If this is really released it would probably be $2999 (US)... I would never buy it for a computer monitor because I prefer looking at something I can see all of at once when it comes to computers.
