No problem...
I haven't been a a member as long as some of you so help me out here... is there a prominant link to show the list of tags? I had browsed this forums first page to see what tag to use via other posts and couldn't find a tag format. I've clicked on "Board Guidelines" where one would assume these tags are listed but could never find the tags.
Thanks for the heads up... where is a list of these "tags"?
Regards,
J
Ahoy hoy, everyone. I was actually about to post a link to the article here, but ya beat me to it
. For those that wanted to see, here's my latest desktop:
For some reason, it wasn't included in the article. After the Wired magazine article (Wired article link) I got a million emails asking me how people did the stuff in the article. Eventually, a from Engadget emailed me asking for a little how-to sort of interview. And there ya go. Hope the ****ies find it useful. ![]()
@ Kurt871 - a big THANKS to you too from osx-e for linking two files in your articles to our site. Its really help a small site like us getting a traffics
No prob, alang. Your site has quite a collection of files, and it just wouldn't be fair to keep them secret ![]()

Click on the "TAG Compliant 1.1" badge in some of our sigs. You can find the information there.

To be honest, if that's the only place to get the information, then it's a pretty badly documented system... some people (like myself) don't have sigs enabled and would have a helluva time finding this stuff.
I realize it'll be a moot point once the update happens, but telling everyone to "tag appropriately" without giving easily-accessible links to the "tagging rules" page needs to change, IMO.
BTW, sorry for encouraging the off-topicness, won't happen again.
-=edit=- changes for clarification -=/edit=-

It isn't the rules page, it's the Tagging page. It is not officially made by Aqua-Soft, though approved by Seph for Tagging Guidelines. The man asked for a place where he could find it, so I gave him a link.
Those who have sigs disabled: TAG you're it.

Tags are not only in that page. If people would pay some attention they would find the tagging guidelines at the top of most of the threads. This, as it is general discussion doesnt have it cause we are trying to avoid as much tags in GD.
This tagging system will be a thing of the past in the new IPB2, dont worry, it has been also included in the final set of new rules.
Its always great for us to get publicity and not get flamed to death ![]()
