Just another one of those... if you do this, and then click on this, then dance in a circle while rubbing your stomach your computer can be compromised. OMFG!!! RUN!!!
Hardly qualifies as a zero day as it is a known issue in the security community and with M$. All M$ premier account members were notified about this months ago and told how to prevent it.
Yes... M$ should fix it, but zero day... I think not.
Every corporate or home user should never allow unsigned active-x objects or active scripts to be executed via a browser in the first place.
And especialy from an untrusted internet source.
I mean duh!
Side note, it is impossible to control someones PC via port 80 alone.
Since most, if not all major corporations use routers and firewalls with ACL's and such, one would have to compromise those first to get the extra ports needed for remote administration/control.
The home user on the other hand is screwed unless they have proper protection as well.
Never rely on one single form of security... use layers. It will save your a$$ in the long run.
