[help] How To Connect Virtualnews With Ipb?

Hello my dear webbers,

Do you like this site?I think the answer should be yes.

Do you like Virtualnew the very app that aquasoft uses?

Can you tell me How to connect your virtualnews with your IPB?

let me explain,you know the virtual new and IPB are two different apps available on the net.Here i just wanna why when i press register on the front page of aqua-soft,then a IPD forum registration form comes?

Do i make myself understood?Maybe you should be confused about what i say.

This is because virtuanews and ipb using the same database so they can integrate and visitors didn't have to register twice to access all section of the site. Esselbach story teller also can integrate with IPB if you're looking for a free version of cms.

First off,wanna thanks for you early reply,but can you gimme some further info about it,for instance,i have two of them,Virtualnews and IPB,What can i do to intergrate them,share with the same Database?

And can you provide me some tuts which tells you how to make maclike button,like the ones in your site?

ok I will tell you what I did. But not sure its the right way. First I install IPB, then I install virtuanews. During the installation process, there will an option for you to choose whether want to use the forum database or not. Hope this help, and if you had a trouble installing it, I can help installing it for you.

And all the graphics on my site is not created by me, its created by my fellow admin, rockzilla @ rockzillaraz. I'm not good in graphics

You have to ask from rockzilla for that, I didn't have it.

But I think better you create it yourself, you will get more satisfaction with it rather than using image from someone else.

Heh, I cant take credit for them, the resources came from Apple, via crni via Photoshop. But I cant see any problem letting you have the template I hurridly placed together.

You have photoshop right? As then you can mess with how wide you want the actual button to be with little difficulity.

just pm me with your msn contact, you can have the whole button, site the owner and the admin. Everything, just name it. BTW, I believe rockzilla already assemble all the graphics for osx-e I'm not sure whether you got the links or not.
