I am sorry, but  .

It's a damn shame though.

What's really sad, is only like %5 of A-S readers were actually alive when he was in office.

#173252

93 years is a good run.

Greatness never dies, it's passed on through the memory of those who have been touched by Greatness.

#173269

He'll probably be in an office in Heaven

#173271

That is a shame. I just found out when I read DZ's title though. >.<

I don't watch the news enough.

#173292

I enjoyed his films

#173378

I remember when he was shot. That was a weird day. When political things happen they always seem bigger when you live near D.C.

#173400

Found out about this last night while watching the news. Damn shame, he was a great leader and man. 93 years, I can't even imagine being that old before my time is up.

#173403

IMO he was the best modern president we have had, and his successors pale in comparison to his leadership. He was a great leader and I don’t believe no one could have led the empire of America the way he did. May he rest in peace now.

trying not to be negative:

on the news some guy was talking about reagan and said "he was a great man and knew who he was"

ironic factor if you havnt picked it up yet: he had alzheimers and had no idea who he was for the past however long

i quite concur... if there's a policy on this board of 0 politics, then make it that, 0 politics. why have a topic where some people's opinion can be heard, but other's can not.

it seems some people can get away with posting topics that others can not.

He was a human being who had a role in the past of this country; he died. That's not political. However, the replies like "he was a great man," etc. are politically biased.

This is not politcal in nature.

This is to pay hommage to the death of someone.

If harry potter died, you faqing fanboys would be all of this.

Dont Piss me off

#173865

Yep, I bet if this was some Islamic leader you wouldnt be singing his praises.

Its political in nature if some people can get away with posting political stuff as this has developed to be, where people cant express their own opinions without being hounded on by others.
