Safari Dev. Preview 1

I have been working on a Safari browser for windows for a week now and I feel that it is far enough in development to make a preview release.

It uses the iapp IE (planning to move to mozilla or other open source soon) and aqua controls, so you will need those to run it.

The google search bar works, the add to favorites feature saves the URL to the app directory and the organize function doesn't work yet. Download organizer hasn't been implemented yet and I will make it so that the browser remember the size of the window soon.

Is it possible for you to make the round edges in the bottom part of the window NOT ROUND? cause they are not round in the safari browser. THANK YOU BERIC, SO MUCH!

You need the aqua controls, get them at http://aquaxp.com

BTW, great job beric! Its truly awesome. I cant believe it only takes 70kb.

Ok, obviously we want this to be as close to the real safari as we can, but in the real safari, how does one go to a home page or stop a page from loading, I dont see any buttons for that

Also, how do you drop down the address bar to see where you've been

After closing the browser because I could not get it to open any pages, I can not find it. What is it called? I looked all over the start menu but could not find it

Those PNG screen captures take 20 million years to see on a fast cable modem. Maybe you should consider JPG or GIF
