[help] Foobar Renaming

Is there a way to make directories work in $if() statements?

Even something as simple as the following does not work:

$if(%various%,!%album%\%artist%,%tracknumber%)

It puts out syntax error, but if you take out the slash it works great. How can I insert a directory without putting a slash or something?
