Pretty cool looking.

Is this some sort of sick joke?

it is important to understand that the technical beta release does not have the stability of released Microsoft software.

It seems like MS Betas are more stable than the final releases... SP2 is running smooothly

the first media player 10 (i guess alpha) i tried, i wasn't too impressed. but this version looks much nicer. the button gell effect is much nicer.

i hope the omaga release looks this good :P

I can see a poll showing up... "Would you like a unified way for all your media needs (dvd, movie files, music, streaming etc) the MS way, or separate applications for each task? (iTunes, DVD player, Quicktime, ...)"

#172757

It looks nice but it seems the newier major players only exist to sell you something anymore. I dont like that Winamp has somewhat fallen into this category. :6

I think it's just weird that they're developing software with appearances that don't fit in with the Windows style at all. Windows Media Player's new look has nothing to do with how WIndows XP looks.

I have some problems with WMP 10 when opening and closing it a few times in a short period. Like when I play a short sound file, close WMP and opening it again when I change my mind or something. It won't start. I have to wait a while or have to force quit it via task manager.
