I have started on a set of icons on a mod of an icon in a set created by Dave Brasgalla. I am not too far along, but enough that I would like to know I have permission before going through all the effort to complete them. I emailed him via the address on his personal web-site (http://www.pixelhuset.se/pixelhuset.html ) asking to see if he will let me do it. I got no response.
Has anyone had any luck contacting him for any types of permissions? And if so, how was it done?
I tried his pixelhuset email and dave@iconfactory.com, both with no luck. I've tried to contact him about several things. No replies. Sorry Wiz.

I contacted him to release a few icon-mods I have made...not sharing with you, lol...at least until I get some sort of communication between us. (I was also looking for a PSD of one of his works, just to see how he did it. "You do not truly know someone, until you see one of their PSD files.")

Try knocking on his door, calling him or sending him a letter. Those are your best bets.

@wizard, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's not going to happen. Dave is very protective of his work. Heck he wouldn't even let me or Marv (when she was doing all the IconFactory conversions) to make an IconPackager of his icons with no modifications, go figure. Anyhoo, I hope you have better luck but I just don't see it happening.
