[request] Kkmenu Skin Repository

As more and more professional quality "Guikit's" are being published by some amazing talent amongst the community, we are starting to see the emergence of some really high quality kkmenu skins to match visual styles and what not. My little mission so-to-speak is to collect as many as possible, and of course with the author's permission start a repository of sorts, souly for kkmenu skins. On an off note, anyone know of how I can get ahold of CRNI (The guy who makes the incredible objectbar themes) to use some if his resources for making kkmenu skins that match his objectbar themes. Hope I'm not asking to much?

Here's my current Yz setup running kkmenu 2.8 with the "Eylo" skin.

CRNI is a member here, just PM him, although don't hold your breath for a reply anytime soon, he's very busy.

This sounds like a great idea, I use KKMenu all the time, I've also made a skin to match my [fear] platinum VS port that will be released sometime in the future that I could contribute if you get this off the ground.

Thanks for the heads' up. I've just sent CRNI a message asking for permission to use some of the resources found in his "OB" themes to start making kkmenu skins that match his "OB" themes. Oh, and I can't wait to check out your theme!

It's not CRNI you need to get permission from, most of those OB themes are based on other themes that weren't created by him, you need to go to the original theme author for permission as he did.

RIGHT!

You'll be in trouble if you don't

You'll need to ask the original author for thier permission to use thier theme.. and

you'll need to ask Crini to use his files included in his OB theme.

Absolutely........ I've allready started my correspondence with CRNi and he's totally swell with the idea and gave his go ahead. My next step via your suggestion is to contact the original theme authors'. Hopefully I won't have to much trouble making contact.Thanks for the tip guys. Nothing worse than going through all the work and not being able to publish.. :cry:
