[help] File Transfer From Mac Msn And Windows Msn

Well is it impossible?

This is giving me a major headache my cousin just got your iBook recently and i want to transfer her picture from my computer to hers.

Sending normal JPG doesn't work....ZIPing the whole thing and sending it does work either...

first i tought it was her wireless router and how she had to open a port or something but it's now because we even tested on a normal hub and no go

so is this suppose to work or not? :naughty:

Please use tags, this is a [help] thread. Also, since the problem lies on the Mac, this is considered Mac & Linux OS forum material.

One App.

One word, one letter.

Adium X

Adium doesn't have msn file transfer or at least it doesn't work for anyone

It's soooo strange, a have some people who are using XP that I CAN send files to from my eMac and some people who can't receive my files. Even stranger, two people I know have the same internet server as I use, one of them can receive my files the other one can't. They're not using a router or something. MSN Messenger weirdness ;)

Who cares? I'd rather use non-file-sending Adium than MSN for Mac. Ew, so ugly. And it's not like it has features that are unique.

Just email whatever it is you want to send. Or is that too retro.

Nice comment... made me laugh.

Who would have thought email would be "retro". :D

Proteus file transfer works well though... for MSN that is. ICQ doesn't seem to have that option on mine... :(
