There would have to be a System Preferences clone program to be made. I don't know if you can hack the cpl enough to get it close to that.
StefanKa's systemfiles do that. You may search the board for them.

Well, anyway, I guess mnt will have to use Stefan's mods because I have never seen that. But he did say that he didn't want to use them.

i started installing the package but i got lost when it asked me what to install cause it didnt exlain them at all

the file ur looking for is desk.cpl (i pretty sure- don't blame me for anything!)

Actually desk.cpl was the display properties in older versions of windows.
WindowsXP has it's display properties in the themeui.dll file in
c:\windows\system32 . I got stuck on that to.
Anybody know who has the themeui.dll for the screenshot in the first post?
or a good bmp for the computer

i could send it to you when i get back to my computer tommorrow.. or you could always install just that part of flyakites files... or install... extract that part that you need then uninstall and replacer to replace the file
send me a pm if you need it.
